There are 5 steering committees and 1 working group active within BSRB. The committees follow the policy that is set at the congress and shape their annual strategy on those objectives. There are also several representatives in various committees and councils that guard the interests of BSRB and its affiliated unions.
Its responsibilities are wage affairs, economic and tax affairs, pension affairs and housing. To strongly promote and maintain the interests and policy of the federation regarding those issues.
Its responsibilities are to highlight and emphasize the policy of the federation concerning gender and equality issues.

The committee is responsible for the federations policy on education. Not least the debate and discussions of future challenges in the labour market, the 4th industrial revolution.

The responsibility is to emphasize the federation’s policy on health care, public service, and public care. Furthermore, to guard the welfare state and the work environment of public employees.

The role of the committee is to discuss subjects that member unions note to BSRB on rights issues that are general for the affiliated unions. The committee can also raise its own questions on general rights of the unions.
